Multiple Business Sub-Accounts
Folderit allows you to create and switch between separate sub-accounts under your user account for your different businesses, departments or locations that you might want to keep separate. All sub-accounts have their own separate main sections (including Inbox and #Team folder), team members (including separate admins if needed) and user groups.
To add a secondary sub-account, do as follows:
- Log in
- Click on your company name in the header to open the dropdown menu
- Choose ‘Manage Accounts’
- Click on the toolbar button ‘+Account’
- Pick a name for your additional account and click ‘Create’

Mind that search works within each sub-account separately.
Hide an account from your lists
Hiding an account is a personal display preference. It removes that account from your normal account lists and switcher without removing your access or hiding tasks assigned to you. Use it when you want a shorter account list while keeping access available.
- Open the company-name menu in the header and choose Manage accounts.
- Find the account and open its gear menu.
- Choose Hide.
Find and restore a hidden account
Return to Manage accounts and click Show hidden accounts. Find the hidden account, open its gear menu, and use the option to restore its visibility. It can then appear in the normal account list again.
Tasks assigned to you remain accessible from the Personal Dashboard while an account is hidden. Hiding is separate from the Remove my access action.
If a shared account disappears
An account that you could access only through shared resources may disappear from the account list when all of those shared resources are recycled, deleted, or no longer available. Visibility returns when qualifying shared resources are restored. Check shared access as well as hidden-account preferences when looking for a missing account.
